How it Works

The education you want. The way you want it.

At University of Phoenix, you can complete your education at the times and places most convenient to you. Depending on the program you choose, you can attend class online or at a nearby campus.

With our online format, you’ll participate in class and submit assignments at times and places convenient for you. You'll interact via the Internet with other working students, sharing ideas, debating issues and learning from their experience. All interaction is conducted through electronic forums, so you participate when and where you choose. Throughout each course, your instructor will provide guidance and feedback on your progress. To ensure that learning sessions are productive, classes are limited to 20 students.

Class size is kept small and personal for most of our campus-based programs as well. You attend just one evening or weekend class each week at a location near your home or work, and then complete assignments on your own, as well as with your learning team.

With either format, University of Phoenix students enjoy highly individualized support and 24/7 access to a full range of online writing and math labs, research libraries, software tutorials and other helpful services.
