Credit for Training

Credit for Training.

You may be closer than you think to completing your degree!

The Prior Learning Assessment Center's portfolio process may save you time and money in completing your degree program. Because University of Phoenix recognizes that learning can take place outside of a traditional classroom, the Prior Learning Assessment Center's portfolio process determines if your learning is equivalent to academic curriculum and eligible for college credit.

Learning that may be eligible for portfolio assessment includes training through your employer, licenses, professional designations, coursework earned at non-transferable institutions and experiential essays.

You may earn up to 30 professional training credits and 30 experiential essay credits toward an associate's or bachelor's degree.*

*Number of credits is dependant on individual degree requirements and state regulations.
